After Jesus' Ascension, Jude traveled as a missionary to Syria and Mesopotamia. Wherever he went, he taught people to be simple, humble, and prayerful. He made many converts, especially among the Jewish people living in those countries. He sent a long letter to his Jewish Christian friends. “We owe God praise and thanksgiving for endless mercy,” he wrote.
