A globe represents the world. Everyone see the dove at the bottom? The dove is the symbol of the Holy Spirit. Does anyone know the prayer we say as we enter church? Sign language story: The king and the nightingale
A strong King that had everything was at his balcony one evening when he heard the most beautiful sound. It was a bird singing. He sent a paige out after the bird so he could add it to his collection of finery. The paige found the bird, and put the nightingale in a cage. The king ordered the bird be brought in front of him, and he commanded the bird to sing. The bird would not sing. The King reminded the nightingale he was the King of the land, and he must sing. The nightingale told the king I only sing at night, and I sing to those that care about me not ones that cage me. The nightingale was released, and the king could hear the nightingale from his balcony every night. The king realized that the Nightingale serves him better by singing when he wishes, and to whomever he wishes.
Drama:
We add the characters (King, paige, and Nightengale) to a hat. The children draw out a character and act as the character with no words. The other children then guess what charater the children are acting.
