St. Joan of Arc
Tell me what you see. Who is the lady? St. Joan of Arc What is she wearing? Armor Why? She is in a war. What is in her hand? A sword in one hand and a flag in the other hand. What does the flag have on it? Jesus with Angels What are the other flags? Great Britain, Germany, Italy, Spain, and France. When St. Joan of Arc was a young girl she heard voices. The voices told her to help the king of France. She went to church often, and was a devout Catholic. She was instructed by the voices to help Charles the VII to become King. She gathered army and went to Charles and told him about the voices wanting him to be the King of France. He was led back to the Castle where he would be King thanks to Joan of Arc.

Sign language story: Mouse and the bull
A mouse bit a bull and angered by his wound the bull tried to catch the mouse. The mouse ran into his hole, and the bull tried to route him out with his horns. The mouse fell fast asleep, and soon the bull fell asleep too. The mouse walked up the back of the bull and again bit him. The bull tried shaking off the mouse, but it did not work. Then the little mouse said to the bull "The bigger do not always prevail over the small".
Drama:
We add the characters (mouse and the bull) to a hat. The children draw out a character and act as the character with no words. The other children then guess what character the children are acting as.
